HEIDI LEWIS
Hello!
My picture book, LOUIE MATTAR'S FABULOUS CAR (Creative Editions, 2026), with amazing illustrations by Jordi Vila Delclòs is available now. Ask your local indie bookstore to order or you can purchase online: Bookshop.org, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon.
Use the contact form to let me know you ordered and I will send you a FREE limited edition handmade 24-page "zine" with fun facts about the Fabulous Car and 1950s trivia (while supplies last)!
My creative path has been a little like a Choose Your Own Adventure story. There have been twists and turns, false starts and dead ends, but that's part of the fun. I've written articles, books, and screenplays. If we ever meet (and I hope we do), ask me about cosplay, scherenschnitte, and the forgotten art of letter writing.
A few more things. I WILL ALWAYS:
Finish on time.
Befriend a stray dog.
See the best in people.
"Bubble and froth and slobber and cream with joy at language." (Stephen Fry)
